Carol Stream names winners of holiday lights contest
The Village of Carol Stream invited residential homeowners to illuminate their front yards in festive fashion for the fifth annual Carol Stream Holiday Lights Decorating Contest.
The village challenged residents to go head-to-head in this fun neighborhood competition for the holiday season.
The winner of "Big Snowball" award for classic holiday decor is located at 522 Hiawatha Drive.
The Frosty Favorite" for a family fun decor is located at 928 Dearborn Circle.
The Judges Favorite for best overall is at 1214 Easton Drive.
Residents can find a "Story Map" on the village website showcasing the nominated and winning homes at www.carolstream.org.
Homeowners from winning holiday displays will be recognized at an upcoming village board meeting.
