GO Gurnee to host walk Saturday on Des Plaines River Trail

GO Gurnee, the year-round social walking program created by the Gurnee Park District, will have a two-mile walk Saturday morning.

The group will meet at the Mother Rudd House at 4690 Old Grand Ave. near Esper Petersen Park and set off north on the Des Plaines River Trail. The event is for ages 14 to 99, and pets also are welcome to join the walk. Parking is available across the street from the Mother Rudd House on Kilbourne Avenue.
