LA Galaxy re-sign defender Daniel Steres for 5th season

CARSON, Calif. (AP) - The LA Galaxy have re-signed defender Daniel Steres for a fifth season with the club.

The Galaxy announced the move Thursday to keep Steres, who was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley.

The 29-year-old central defender has made 102 appearances with 94 starts for the Galaxy since joining the MLS roster from their USL affiliate in 2016. He has seven goals and two assists.

Steres started a career-high 30 games and scored three goals last season for the Galaxy.
