No injuries reported in Algonquin apartment fire

A fire broke out Wednesday evening at an apartment building in Algonquin.

The Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District responded to the fire about 5 p.m. Wednesday at 200 E. Algonquin Road, according to a news release.

All residents evacuated safely, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental. The extent of the damage was unclear Wednesday night, the news release said.
