Rockland Road work done for season

All lanes of Rockland Road in Libertyville are open and construction has ended for winter.

Rockland Road will be rebuilt next year between Milwaukee Avenue and St. Mary's Road, but work will not include the bridge over the Des Plaines River. Traffic will be shifted to one-way eastbound, and traffic heading west will be detoured via Route 176.

The bridge will be replaced as part of a future project no sooner than 2022. Visit http://www.libertyville.com/.
