Enjoy free Palatine Park District fitness center open house

Palatine Park District will host a free open house at its fitness center from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 14. The center is located on the second floor of the park district's community center at 250 E. Wood St. Patrons will get to check out state-of-the-art machines, an elevated indoor walking track while interacting with the staff. The facility also has balance, core and plyometrics equipment.
