Donate to Toys for Tots program at Lake Barrington village hall

Lake Barrington village government and the Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores are collecting donations on behalf of Toys for Tots.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted until 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at village hall, 23860 Old Barrington Road.

Founded and operated by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Toys for Tots distributes gifts to less fortunate children.

"With the holiday season upon us, the village is proud to support Toys for Tots and the Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores by collecting unwrapped toys at village hall," said Lake Barrington Village President Kevin Richardson.
