Lake County Board to discuss leaf-burning restrictions

The Lake County Board's energy and environment committee will meet Wednesday to discuss possible leaf-burning restrictions for unincorporated areas of the county.

The discussion will include a presentation of a recent study of the issue as well as waste-hauling options.

The meeting is set for 11 a.m. at the county's central permit facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville.
