Des Plaines Holiday Hoopla set for Dec. 14

The Des Plaines Youth Commission will host the 2019 Holiday Hoopla from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14.

Participants can visit with Santa Claus, and enjoy crafts, games, cookies, hot chocolate and holiday cheer. Children must arrive by 2:30 p.m. to visit with Santa.

The free event will take place at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood Ave., Des Plaines.
