Green Team working with Congress

The single biggest problem facing our world today is the climate crisis. As the world experiences more flooding, fires and melting of both the Arctic and Antarctic ice shelves, many people deny that a crisis exists. However, globally, there are many concerned citizens ready to fight this crisis with all they have. The recent international climate strikes proved this.

The Green Team is one such group of concerned citizens. The Green Team is a joint project of Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) Action Fund and the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). The group is still in its infancy but has been working with congressional representatives to address climate change issues.

Currently, we are looking for representatives to co-sponsor our 100% Clean Economy Act, which states that we will be carbon free by 2050. It does not get bogged down in how to do it, choosing instead to leave that to the experts.

I am hoping my congressional representative, Sean Casten, will sign on as a co-sponsor.
