Spaghetti dinner Dec. 6 to benefit Mundelein police group

The Mundelein Police Academy Alumni Association will host its 11th annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 6, at the Mundelein Police Department, 221 N. Lake St.

The event takes place before and immediately following the annual tree lighting ceremony at the Village Hall Plaza Circle. There will be a raffle with gift certificates to local merchants and a 50/50 raffle.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12 years old, and children 4 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance or the night of the event in the police department lobby.

The Alumni Association assists the police department with many events throughout the year and has donated equipment such as portable breath testers for the department's use and donated money to the department's Shop with a Cop event.
