Fox Valley police reports for Nov. 26
Batavia
• Terry S. Castro, 57, of the 300 block of Raymond Street, Elgin, was charged at 5:38 p.m. Monday with retail theft under $300 at Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, according to police.
• A resident of the 600 block of Bennett Street reported a theft of sunglasses and prescription sunglasses from a vehicle at 3:29 p.m. Monday, but could not specify where the theft occurred. The loss was estimated at $800.
Kane County
• A large snowblower, large power washer and a small power washer, with a total estimated value of $5,500, were stolen between 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday from an unlocked garage on the 6S900 block of Hankes Road in Aurora Township.
• An air compressor valued at $99 was reported stolen from the 300 block of Oakview Drive near Aurora at 9:11 p.m. Monday.
• A resident of the 9N700 block of Old Mill Court, Elgin, reported at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday that someone used $4,941 worth of miles on his credit card.
