Wheeling police collecting Toys for Tots

The Wheeling Police Department is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the needy now until Dec. 9 to help with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program.

"No child should go without gifts this holiday season," Police Chief James J. Dunne said. "We are so happy to partner with the United States Marine Corps Reserve by having their Toys for Tots donation boxes here at the Wheeling Police Department."

Donors can bring your new, unwrapped toys to the police station, 1 Community Blvd., any time before Dec. 9. No stuffed animals are allowed and the toys must be in the original packaging.
