Many outraged by spectacle in Washington

I side with the recent comments of the likes of Jim Jordan, Lindsey Graham, Louisiana's John Kennedy and former UN Ambassador Niki Hailey at the national level. More importantly and more telling, I side unequivocally with the common-sense citizens I have spoken with in Schaumburg while circulating nominating petitions on behalf of both local and national Republican candidates to secure their right to run for office. Your fellow neighbors are outraged at the spectacle that is unfolding in our nation's capital. A heartfelt thanks to you all.

Jurisprudence, the rule of law that is enshrined in our constitution, where you are able to confront and cross examine your accuser is at stake in this spectacle being perpetrated by the majority Democratic House of Representatives. It's un-American. Imagine if this were you. It sends an ominous warning that freedoms we have fought and bled for over the years are at risk. Much of print and broadcast advocacy journalism since the Nov. 8, 2016, election has been devoid of time-honored tenets of objective news reporting. It is a further detriment to our way of life.

If you dared read Ambassador Yovanovitch's testimony you would see she provided exculpatory testimony toward Trump's policy regarding Ukraine. Yet, the only thing "leaked" was what the Democrats deemed negative. And then the deep-state diplomat corps decry her removal.

Guess what? Ambassadors serve at the president's pleasure. Always have, always will. Furthermore, where the Democrats claim that the USA's national security with respect to Trump's approach to Ukraine policy was at risk, the Democrats ire was conspicuously absent when Obama provided mere blankets and MRE's (meals ready to eat). How lethal was that toward Ukraine's nemesis?

Where were the Democrats when Ukraine needed them? Their harangue rings hollow. Let the "whistleblower" testify.
