Embarrassing all around
Whether you are a Democrat or Republican or Independent, the Washington, D.C., politicians are making a mockery of our country. I consider myself an Independent who votes on both sides of the aisle (hopefully the best person for the job). What is happening reminds me of Hillary Clinton "standing by her man" during his darkest days.
She suffered terrible shame, embarrassment and ridicule following her unending devotion to her husband. The Republicans are also "standing by their man," even though there appears to be some truth to this entire mess.
It wasn't President Trump's finest hour and to staunchly support him just because you are a Republican isn't exactly putting country first.
The Democrats are digging their hole even deeper trying to find some impeachable offense. We tire of the rhetoric. I don't know if Trump will be impeached or not, as it isn't up to us. Just remember to vote next time you have a chance.
