Kaneland wins second straight

Kaneland improved to 2-1 with a 44-26 win over Belvidere Monday at the Wauconda Turkey Tournament.

The Knights raced to leads of 13-2 after the first quarter and 27-7 at halftime.

Kylie Holubecki led the way with 11 points, 5 steals and 3 rebounds. Keely Noel added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals, and Katharine Marshall and Kelsey Modaff both scored 5 points.
