Chicago event celebrates SIU's new business analytics programs

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Southern Illinois University Carbondale's College of Business hosted an evening reception to celebrate its newly launched and highly anticipated programs in business analytics and artificial intelligence.

Prospective students, business leaders and alumni gathered in downtown Chicago to learn more about the increasing demand for analytics-aware business people in Illinois, and how the university is addressing this need with its innovative, new courses.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet faculty as well as analytics industry executives serving on the board of the university's one-of-a-kind Pontikes Center for Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
