Grains mixed, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. delivery rose 5.40 cents at $5.09 a bushel; Dec. corn was up 1.60 cents at $3.71 bushel; Dec. oats lost 2.60 cents at $3.0340 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans was off .40 cent at 9.1420 a bushel.
Beef was mixed, pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec. live cattle lost .99 cent at $1.1798 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle was up .13 cent at $1.4640 a pound; Dec. lean hogs fell 1.27 cents at .6210 a pound.
