Scouting report: Blackhawks at Vegas Golden Knights

The skinny: Vegas has lost seven of 10 (three in OT) and three in a row. The latest setback was a true heartbreaker as Detroit's Anthony Mantha scored with 30.9 seconds remaining to give the Red Wings a 3-2 victory.

"We played 55 great minutes of hockey and then fell asleep for the last five," Golden Knights coach Gerard Galant told reporters. ... Reilly Smith (10) and Mark Stone (8) are Vegas' leading goal scorers.

Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury has appeared in 15 of 19 games in net. Vegas is 0-3-2 when he doesn't start.

Vegas' penalty kill ranks second (87.7 percent), although Gallant's team has allowed 7 PP goals in the last 10 games.
