Santa's arrival, fireworks show Friday at Deer Park Town Center

Santa will arrive Deer Park Town Center on Friday, Nov. 15, to visit friends and families in the area.

The celebration begins at 6 p.m. with a special performance by Those Funny Little People. Santa will make his entrance aboard a Lake Zurich fire truck and stick around for a tree-lighting ceremony and fireworks show.

Families will be able to visit with Santa until 8:30 p.m., and personal cameras are welcome. Children who visit Santa will go home with a free pouch of magical reindeer food and reindeer antlers, while supplies last.

The free event is presented by Northwest Community Healthcare and the village of Deer Park. Northwest Community Healthcare's new outpatient care center is opening in January at Rand and Cuba Roads in Kildeer.
