Author appearance Thursday at Moretti's in Barrington

David B. Amerine will be signing copies of his new book, "Push It to Move It: Lessons Learned from a Career in Nuclear Project Management," from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Moretti's Ristorante and Pizzeria, 128 S. Wool St. in Barrington. With about 45 years of experience in the nuclear industry, Amerine's book is billed as a vital resource that provides leaders at all levels with a full appreciation for what it takes to avoid large-scale problems or to recover from them quickly and fully if they have occurred.

Books will be available for purchase, but the event itself is free.
