Friendship Station Preschool to host Fall Open House Nov. 12

Friendship Station Preschool invites parents and their young children to attend an open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Come learn about the school, meet the teachers, explore their educational and fun classrooms, and learn about the Enrichment Programs.

Friendship Station Preschool is guided by the philosophy of learning through play. Children learn to share, create, cooperate, interact, and solve problems in a supportive and interesting environment. Because each child is individual and unique, emphasis is placed on developing a positive self-image.

In keeping with the guidelines of Illinois State Board of Education Standards regarding early learning and literacy, our preschool program provides appropriate activities to enhance the literacy of the young child.

Support for all children will be provided by loving, knowledgeable staff in a collaborative working partnership with families. Our lead teachers all have a Bachelor of Arts degrees in early childhood education or a related field, and receive ongoing training.

Friendship Station Preschool offers full-day and half-day options for 3- to 4-year-olds and 4- to 5-year-olds.

Additional themed Enrichment Classes are also offered to extend the learning and play experience. Limited openings for the current school year are available. Registration for the 2020-2021 school year begins in January.

Friendship Station Preschool is located at 2960 Blackman Road. Please park in the Geneva Middle School South parking lot (off Viking Drive), and follow the marked path to the preschool entrance.
