"Chicago's Finest Painted Ladies & Her Court" competition, sponsored by the Chicago Paint & Coatings Association in Schaumburg, is pleased to announce its 2019 winners.

This popular project, now in its 33rd year, concluded on Labor Day with five winning beautifully painted homes/businesses - a reflection of the growing number of owners who are using paint and coatings to enhance the curb appeal of their homes or businesses.

The Wayne home on the 32W100 block of Army Trail Road won a prize for the Best Use of Craftsmanship of Paint Application - Professionally Painted. The home is owned by Tori Stratton and the painter is Josh's Painting,

This contest is open to homes and businesses throughout the Chicago area. The style, size or age of the property is not a factor in selecting the winners, but beauty and craftsmanship of the paint application, and how well it complements the structure of the building is essential to being a 2019 "Chicago's Finest Painted Ladies" winner.

According to the Chicago Paint & Coatings Association's spokesperson, Bill Heiden, who works with a team of judges to select the winners for the 2019 competition. Based on the wide range of beautiful entries, it underscores the fact that paint and coatings are the most affordable ways to improve and accent a home or business appearance.

The winners will be honored at a special Awards Dinner hosted by the Chicago Paint & Coatings Association on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Maggiano's in Schaumburg to commemorate their achievement.
