Mostly flat student enrollment at Barrington Area Unit District 220

Barrington Area Unit District 220 officials say the latest figures show enrollment remains mostly flat for the 2019-20 academic year compared to last year.

District 220 school board members at a meeting Tuesday received the 30-day enrollment report showing a total student count of 8,611. Officials said there were 8,640 students on the 30-day report for the 2018-19 school year.

Officials project student enrollment to fluctuate in 2019-20, as it has in previous years.
