St. Mary's Road near Green Oaks closing Nov. 19-20

The Lake County Division of Transportation will be closing St. Mary's Road to through traffic from Route 137 to Route 176 near Green Oaks beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19.

The closure is necessary to replace a large, deteriorated crossroad culvert, officials said. The road is scheduled to reopen by late afternoon Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Local traffic will be allowed from Route 137 south to Thornbury Lane/Greenbriar Drive and from Route 176 north to Minard Lane. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.

A detour will take traffic from Route 137 to Route 21 to Route 176.
