Inland brokers Joliet Diocese land sale

JOLIET - Inland Real Estate Commercial Brokerage recently brokered the sale of a 13.5-acre property at Route 6 and Maple Road in Joliet.

Terms of the sale were not announced.

The land, purchased by Maple Road Property, LLC, a subsidiary of Austin-Tyler Construction, is part of a portfolio of excess property from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet. Zoned agricultural and previously farmed, the property is adjacent to Ss. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery, also owned by the Diocese, and backs up to the Lower Spring Creek County Forest Preserve.

Eric Spiess, senior vice president of Inland Commercial Brokerage, facilitated the transaction on behalf of the seller.

"This transaction represents a continuation of our work with the Diocese to successfully sell the remaining portion of its portfolio of land in unincorporated Joliet," said Spiess.
