The Trump norm

I was not surprised that our president had to listen to boos and hear the crowd chant "Lock Him Up" at the recent World Series baseball game. After all, didn't he start and hasn't he perpetuated this kind of vulgarity in his shameful politics? Name calling, denigration and simple insults have become the Trump norm - often cheered enthusiastically by his sycophant followers.

As much as I hate to see this happen in our country, it's pretty easy to see why. My mother, would have simply said, "You get what you deserve."
