Sisters of the Living Word film nominated for two Emmys

A short film created for an order of Catholic Sisters based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, has been nominated for two Emmys from the Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards. The film highlights the core values and ministry of the Sisters of the Living Word.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (October 31, 2019)

ABOUT THE NOMINATIONS:

Daniel Kullman (Director of Photography) and Camrin Petramale (Gaffer) were nominated for "Outstanding Crafts Achievement Off-Air-Lighting" for their exceptional work on "We Are the Sisters of the Living Word," a short creative film about the mission and impact of the Sisters of the Living Word in the world. Daniel Kullman and Sonia Jourdain (Assistant Camera Operator) were nominated for "Outstanding Crafts Achievement Off-Air: Photographer- Program (Non-News)" on the same production. SLW and Bitter Jester Studios will be recognized at the 61st Annual Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

ABOUT THE AWARD CEREMONY:

This year will be the 61st Annual awards ceremony and will take place Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Swissotel, 323 East Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago. Ryan Dempster (former Chicago Cubs pitcher) and Big Easy (from the Harlem Globetrotters) will co-host. The red carpet and the award ceremony events will be live-streamed.
