People, not just politicians, care about impeachment

In response to the Oct. 1 letter to the editor by Chris Lauzen, Kane County Board chairman, I want to ask - was this his opinion? Since it was signed as the Kane County Board chairman, was a vote taken by the entire board supporting this letter?

Is Mr. Lauzen speaking for the residents of Kane County? I took offense at the suggestion that I have not already taken the time to read "the actual transcript." The transcript I read states that it is not a verbatim transcript of the phone conversation The whistle-blower (whom Trump has called a spy and a traitor) referred to an "official word-for-word" transcript." Evidently, a verbatim transcript does exist.

So, I have decided, for myself, to support the impeachment inquiry by the "do-nothing Impeachment Congress" that has over 200 bills waiting for Mitch McConnell to put before the Senate.

It is not "those politicians" that are frustrated and angry - it is me, a voter and resident of Kane County.
