One injured in Elk Grove Village crash

One person was injured in an Elk Grove Village accident Wednesday night, officials said.

Two cars collided at the intersection of Tonne Road and Clearmont Drive shortly before 7 p.m., according to Elk Grove Village Fire Department Battalion Chief Clint Cunz. The victim was taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center with minor injuries, Cunz said.
