Salt Creek Park District hosting Halloween party in Palatine

Salt Creek Rural Park District will hold its annual Halloween party from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Salt Creek Sports Center, 647 Consumers Ave. in Palatine.

Geared for children 10 and younger, the bash will include a bounce house, face painting, crafts, coloring station, costume contest and Halloween games. Children should come dressed in Halloween costumes and bring a bucket or bag for prizes. Parents are free but must accompany children.

Online registration at saltcreekpd.com using program code 105200-01 is available through Tuesday, with per-person fees of $5 for residents and $7 for nonresidents. It'll be $10 cash at the door Wednesday for participants.
