Kids get a head start on Halloween at Buffalo Grove Trick or Treat Trail
Families in Buffalo Grove got a head start on Halloween Sunday at the Buffalo Grove Park District's Trick or Treat Trail.
Billed as a "no scare zone," the popular event had kids and parents lined up well before the doors opened at 11:30 a.m. Once inside, trick-or-treaters followed the trail through a darkened room at the Buffalo Grove Community Arts Center where they could collect candy from friendly costumed characters.
Face painting, crafts and games with prizes rounded out the day.
