Bribery cases show lack of moral compass

The recently published Guest View by Andrew Trees, "College bribery trials only a beginning," points up another human frailty and lack of reliance on a moral compass which reflects Judeo-Christian teachings needed to deal with every day situations and circumstances. The prevailing culture which is morally deficient is godless in nature and is condoned by the separation of church and state ideas, which in actuality separates God from culture or society. Those who commit crimes, violent or "white collar," sadly grew up without God.

They went to school when prayer was prohibited and moral behavior was not part of the curriculum in an effort to be "politically correct" and avoid offense to anyone. Role models for youth should not be entertainers or sports figures, but people who have presented a good example of moral living.
