GURNEE, Ill., Oct. 26, 2019 - announces the grand opening of Farmers Insurance - Claudette Washington Agency in Gurnee, IL. The ceremony will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 beginning at 11:30 am at 5455 Grand Ave. Ste 302B, Gurnee, IL 60031. There will be a brief ribbon cutting ceremony followed by appetizers, raffle with prizes and free quotes.

Claudette Washington, agent-owner, is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a resident of Lake County, IL for over 32 years. Claudette Washington Agency was established due to a personal knowledge of the importance of having insurance. Her daughter is a young breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed at the age of 31, four days prior to her 32nd birthday and she became her primary caregiver. Her daughter is an attorney for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and had excellence insurance. Unfortunately, Claudette watched the hospital turn away people for not having proper insurance coverage. Whether it be one's car or protecting the financial future of loved ones, insurance matters.

C Washington Agency is excited to be a part of the continued financial growth of the Village of Gurnee and to be an integral part of the community. The new office is located right next to Six Flags Great America and the Lake County, Illinois Convention & Visitors Bureau. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday. ###
