One injured in Elk Grove Village crash

One person was injured in a car crash Thursday night in Elk Grove Village, officials said.

The Elk Grove Village Fire Department responded near the intersection of Biesterfield Road and Martha Street about 5 p.m., a fire department representative said.

The victim, whose age and gender weren't available, was taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. The injury wasn't life-threatening, and traffic has returned to normal.
