Enjoy Halloween fun at the Mundelein Boo Bash Oct. 26

The Mundelein Park and Recreation District will host its annual Boo Bash event offering Halloween fun for the family from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Mundelein's Community Park and Community Center, 1401 N. Midlothian Road. The event will offer indoor trick-or-treating in the Community Center gymnasium, with treats and other giveaways from nearly 40 area businesses.

The Boo Bash will also feature outdoor activities, including tractor-pulled wagon rides; games like pumpkin bowling, eyeball in a hay stack and the witch's hat toss; a photo booth; a bounce house; pumpkin carving demonstrations; music provided by a disc jockey; a magician; and more.

This year, Boo Bash has added a pumpkin patch, sponsored by Century 21 Affiliated of Mundelein. The first 500 families to attend will be able to pick a pumpkin to take home.

Costumes are encouraged. The event will be held rain or shine, so dress for the weather.

Admission is free. No registration is required. Food will be available for purchase from the Doctor Dogs food truck.
