Letter: Greed stops NBA from defending Hong Kong

I am an avid sports fan but I have little desire to attend an NBA basketball game since the game has deteriorated into a greed industry. And after the recent free fall by the NBA elites like Steve Kerr, Greg Popovich, LeBron James, James Harden and Adam Silver, I have less desire to even watch a game on TV. These overpaid and spineless NBA elites have no problem denouncing our country but dive like cockroaches when it comes to defending freedom of speech in Hong Kong.

The NBA, an $8 billion corporation, answers only to Nike, a $40 billion corporation, who in turn bow to China, which dominates Nike.

So it is easy to see why these moronic and greedy athletes and team owners and officials are unwilling to stand up against a country that murders thousands of Muslims and Christians, encourages rampant abuse of all human rights and religious freedom and even kills prisoners of conscience for their organs.

These are evil people.

But money is king in the NBA. Watch it if you have the stomach for that sort of entertainment or call it for what it is and watch episodes of National Geographic and South Park.
