Townhouses catch fire in Lake Barrington

A fire damaged two townhouses Wednesday night on the 1300 block of Oak Hill Road in Lake Barrington.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, according to Wauconda Fire Department Battalion Chief Devin Mueller. The cause of the fire hasn't been determined.

Oak Hill Road was expected to be closed until about midnight as authorities worked at the scene.

The Wauconda Fire Department was dispatched about 9:20 p.m. and was one of 11 fire departments to respond. Others included the Palatine Fire Department and the Lake Zurich Fire Department.
