DuPage County: Tuesday Morning Quarterback

Name: Hunter Campbell

School: Downers Grove North

Year: Senior

Best thing about being an offensive lineman: I think the best thing about being an offensive lineman is I work with some of my closest friends on every play. Being on the offensive line we work toward a common goal of protecting our quarterback and our running backs, people that we care about.

Worst thing about being an offensive lineman: I don't really have a downside to it. People say the offensive line doesn't get a lot of praise, but an offensive lineman doesn't really look for praise. We're just happy to help our team and do our job.

Don't tell my coach that: As a team we have really good relationships with all our coaches. Our coaches are some of our teachers and they support us on and off the field. I don't have any secrets.

If I could change one thing about football: It'd probably be less penalties. I know it's a huge safety concern to try to keep people healthy, but I just know the longer I play football the more they change the course of the game. I know in the IHSA (Illinois High School Association) they instituted a horsecollar penalty, and some refs call it and others don't.

Team not on our schedule I wish we could play: It'd probably be Waubonsie Valley. One of my closest friends growing up (Max Connolly) attends there. It'd be fun to compete against him again.

How I'll celebrate if I score a TD: I probably wouldn't do anything too crazy, it'd probably just be really energized and hyped-up with my teammates, and we'd have a lot of fun.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat: I don't have any form of social media. I think that there's no good that comes out of it and people would be better off without it.

What I like best about my school: There's a lot of things that go into it. For one my mom (Kelly Zuerner) works there and I've loved how the community is so involved with the school, especially our "N Zone," our student section, they're always super-energized and it helps us out in a game. And Downers Grove North always has a good balance of academics and athletics.

Something about me that would surprise you: One of the most important traits about me is I love to protect, which probably is why I'm drawn to the offensive line. I'm an older brother, so I've always protected my siblings. That translates on to the football field where I'm protecting those that I care about.

Other sports I play: I throw shot put and discus in track and field.

Favorite actor: My favorite actor would definitely be Keanu Reeves, He's a really down-to-earth guy, really nice and positive, and he always gets into his roles.

Favorite actress: I'm not really sure. Maybe Gal Godot, because I'm a huge DC (Comics) fan, and I think she was good as Wonder Woman.

Favorite athlete: It'd probably be David Bakhtiari, he's the Packers left tackle who's amazing at his position. You just have to look at his footwork and you can tell that he can analyze a defense really well.

Favorite musician: My favorite group right now is Twenty One Pilots. I think their music is really good and it's always deep and has good messages that make you think about life.
