A collusion course

The administration and conservative media justifiably castigated Democrats and justice department officials for their failed attempt to link the president and Russia in a plot to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

In a bit of irony, we now learn that during the Trump Russian collusion, the Trump administration was possibly in collusion with Ukraine in an attempt to dig up dirt on the Biden family.

Watching Giuliani first deny then admit he attempted to convince Ukraine leaders to look into dealings of the Biden family was comical. That is reason enough to fire Giuliani and the person who authorized his contacts with Ukraine officials. But what if that person was the president - who will fire the president?

If the reports are true that the president had inappropriate or illegal discussions with Ukraine leaders about a possible political opponent, then the president is on a collusion course with impeachment.
