Domestic violence awareness program scheduled Oct. 21

The Faith Committee of Lake County's Domestic Violence Council is hosting a domestic violence awareness program Oct. 21 at the Waukegan Public Library, the Lake County state's attorney's office announced Friday. At the event, representatives will share signs and symptoms of domestic violence, as well as how to help friends and loved ones involved in domestic violence situations. The event will run from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The library is located at 128 N. County St. in Waukegan. For more information, call (847) 377-3184.
