New executive named for Waukegan courthouse

Todd A. Schroeder will serve as the next executive director of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, Chief Judge Jay W. Ukena announced Friday. Schroeder comes to the role with a 35-year career as a court professional. Most recently, he served five years as assistant director of the court services division of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts. "When searching for a new Executive Director, we sought not only someone with experience and strong managerial skills, but also a leader with a comprehensive understanding of the justice system," Ukena said in a news release. "All of us here at the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit are excited about Todd joining us and look forward to a seamless transition."
