Two Carpentersville houses hit by gunfire; no injuries reported
Two houses were struck by gunfire Wednesday night at the south end of Golfview Lane in Carpentersville, authorities said.
Police responded about 9:15 p.m. to reports of multiple gunshots fired in the area, according to a post on Carpentersville's public safety Facebook page. No injuries have been reported.
Officers collected evidence and canvassed the neighborhood. An investigation is ongoing.
