Marmion Academy to hold Homecoming kick-off party Oct. 5

The community is invited to Marmion Academy's 2019 Homecoming Kick-Off Party from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, on the school's campus, 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora.

Events begin with a parade around Fichtel Field at 6:30 p.m. followed by a pep rally. The bonfire will be lit at 7:30 p.m. Wristbands for unlimited access to all the indoor interactive inflatables will be sold for $12. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Oct. 10, give the cook the night off and enjoy some barbecue. Dinners are $15 each and will be available from 4:30 to 7 p.m. with convenient drive through service.

Tickets should be purchased in advance at marmion.org/bbq. Purchase your tickets in advance - there will be limited sales available that day. All proceeds from the dinner benefit the Marmion Music Program.

Marmion's Homecoming football game is Friday, Oct. 11. Come watch the Marmion Cadets take on St. Viator High School at Marmion's Fichtel Field. The Sophomore game begins at 5 p.m., followed by Varsity at 7:30 p.m. Halftime festivities include the presentation of the 2019 Homecoming Court and the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Pass-in-Review.
