Leadership on safety

I want to salute Mayor Dailly of Schaumburg for his prompt response to the incident at Woodfield Mall on Friday.

He acted decisively and emphatically to say the village would require that barricades be erected at all entrances. Currently there are some; however, there are many vulnerable entrances. The village has, in the past, asked the mall to install more barriers. Now, the mayor said, it will become mandatory for the mall to install them.
