Press is protection against corruption

In a recent letter to the editor Mr. Laszlo Stephan all but accused the press of being traitors in their investigation of Donald Trump and his administration.

Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but to my way of thinking, they are the only ones who are keeping this country from becoming a dictatorship.

Perhaps Mr. Stephan should take an adult course in world history to fully comprehend the danger in threatening the freedom of the press.

If Donald Trump has much to fear from The New York Times and Washington Post, it's his own doing. The corruption he brought to the White House has only been extended as our commander in chief.

People should pray that this president isn't given four more years to undermine our nation's greatness.
