Elgin's Calvary Church to host rededication service Oct. 6

The members of Calvary Lutheran Church invite the community to rejoice with them at the completed renovation of the church sanctuary.

In renovating the sanctuary, the members of Calvary are expressing their desire and intent to be here to share the Holy Word of God with the community for generations to come.

All are welcome to attend the "Service of Thanksgiving and Rededication" at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6.

Calvary Lutheran Church is located at 535 N. McLean Blvd., Elgin.

The church is a confessional Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregation.

The Sunday services, led by Rev. Mark C. Bestul, are at 8 and 10:30 a.m. with Holy Communion at each service. The church has Bible study at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. with Bible-based lessons and hymnody.
