DuPage County: Tuesday Morning Quarterback

Name: Johnny Cassidy

School: Glenbard North

Year: Senior

Best thing about being an offensive lineman: The feeling after a big play, knowing that it wasn't possible without you.

Worst thing about being an offensive lineman: You get no love. Everyone is always eyeing the quarterback, everyone knows who he is, but not everyone knows who the offensive linemen are.

Don't tell my coach that: We left Gold Fish in his office when I was (student-) aiding for him. We don't know if he ever found them or not.

If I could change one thing about football: I would definitely like to go back to how it was without ... not all the safety rules, but I'd like to go back to when you could hit someone without being penalized.

Team not on our schedule I wish we could play: South Elgin. I believe that being in the Upstate Eight Conference, maybe it's not the best of talent within a conference, but I still think they're a good team and I would like to play them. Also, (South Elgin senior) Marquise Gillespie, he's an old friend from sophomore year at Glenbard North.

How I'll celebrate if I score a TD: Ooh, that's a tough one. Probably the Chris Farley dance from "Saturday Night Live." I don't remember what it's called, but everyone says I look like Chris Farley, so I feel that probably would be the best way to handle it.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat: Snapchat. (There was) a lot of dumb stuff I did freshman and sophomore year with my friends, a lot of funny things, and it's really amusing to see them pop back up.

What I like best about my school: I'd have to say the culture. I've been around Glenbard North my entire life with my dad (Panthers offensive line coach John Cassidy, a 1987 Glenbard North graduate), and just seeing how it was when I was little and now being able to experience it, it's surreal for me.

Something about me that would surprise you: I'm a big conspiracy theory guy. I don't always believe them. I actually don't believe a lot of them, but I think it's interesting to research and see what other people think of other possibilities in the world.

Other sports I play: For high school, just football and baseball. I used to play hockey, I'm still a huge hockey fan. When the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in 2010 I got really interested in hockey and played that for six, seven years. To this day hockey is still my favorite sport.

Favorite actor: Currently, Adam Sandler, I've watched all his movies, I loved "Billy Madison," "Happy Gilmore." Again, I've watched all of Chris Farley's movies - "Beverly Hills Ninja," "Tommy Boy," "Black Sheep," "Airheads."

Favorite actress: I really like the girl that plays Black Widow in the Marvel movies, I think that's Scarlett Johansson.

Favorite athlete: I'm a really huge Christian McCaffrey fan. My favorite football team is the (Carolina) Panthers, right by the Bears. Those are my two teams. And coming out of college, seeing how hard he works, and him being undersized, it's cool to see him excel like he has.

Favorite musician: That's a hard one, I listen to a lot of music. I really enjoy older music. I listen to (D4L album) "Down for Life; "Laffy Taffy" is one of my favorites. I like Polo G and I do like K Camp.
