Aurora stabbing victim identified

The Kane County coroner's office has identified the man fatally stabbed early Saturday morning in Aurora as Marvin Dean, 51, of Aurora.

Dean was discovered about 5:15 a.m. outside a home on the 600 block of Hinman Street after suffering multiple stab wounds, police said.

He was pronounced dead at Rush Copley Medical Center at 6:20 a.m., according to a news release from the coroner's office Monday.

The coroner's office is working with the Aurora Police Department in the investigation.
