New Pastor At Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd

Pastor Dave Beese is now serving the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at 1111 N. Elmhurst Rd in Prospect Heights. Originally from Prairie View and then Mundelein, Pastor Beese graduated from Christ Seminary/Seminex in St. Louis in 1976. He has served the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) at Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry in Cleveland, Ohio from 1977-1983. Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church in Haven, KS from 1983-1988. First Lutheran Church in Manhattan, KS from 1988-2005. Elim Lutheran church in Marquette, KS as an interim pastor from 2005-2006. Kent Memorial Lutheran Church in Sunrise Beach, MO from 2007-2017.

The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd was founded in 1959 and has served the community faithfully for the last 60 years. Our worship service is at 9:30 on Sunday morning. We are a family-friendly congregation and invite the community to attend our services and meet our new pastor.
